To strengthen our team in the haematological-cytological laboratory, we are looking for a dedicated medical technologist for laboratory analysis (MTL) (m/w/d) in full or part-time! The Bielefeld Franziskus Hospital is one of five hospitals of the Catholic Hospital Ostwestfalen gGmbH. Every year, around 13,000 stationary and 31,000 outpatient patients are supplied in the ten specialist clinics and the centres (endoprosthetic center and oncological center with breast cancer center, colon cancer center, prostate cancer center). The entire hospital is certified annually in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001. The laboratory comprises 17 employees.

performing haematological studies (e.g. small and large blood count) Operation, maintenance and quality control of modern haematological analysis systems Microscopic assessment of blood and bone marrow smears Creation and evaluation of differential blood images Work in the field of hematology including immunophenotyping in lymphoma and leukemia diagnostics and cytology

Completed training as a medical technologist for laboratory analysis (MTL) Experience in cytology and haematological special diagnostics would be advantageous Knowledge of laboratory software and documentation systems Careful and precise operation Team skills and responsibility Willingness to continue Knowledge of quality management (e.g. ISO standards) desirable Willingness to night and weekend service and openness gracious new methods and techniques Engaged and active cooperation in our team
