Packaging Developer (m/f/d)

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a packaging developer (m/w/d).

You are responsible for the development and implementation of packaging projects in cooperation with production, internal specialist departments, suppliers and customers. You analyze the markets with regard to our customer requirements and novelties. You always have a view of the conformity according to current (inter-)national law and food safety requirements. You create packaging specifications and store them or their data in the corresponding portals. As a direct contact for the production sites on packaging, you ensure compliance with quality and portfolio standards and work with investment tests and material optimization. You audit and qualify packaging suppliers in coordination with quality management and support the Sustainability team.

You have a degree with a focus on packaging technology or a comparable qualification. Alternatively, we are also pleased to receive applications from dedicated cross-comers with technical training, sound technical understanding and interest in packaging processes in the food industry. With regard to current packaging methods (a.k.a. food industry), you have well-founded knowledge. You have already gained basic knowledge in process engineering. Very good German (B2) and good English skills are a must have for this place. We require a secure handling of the MS Office package. Ideally, you have already gained experience in dealing with SAP and/or other business computer programs. Entrepreneurial thinking and acting, resilience, communication strength and team capacity complete your profile. You have a class B licence.
