IT Service Manager Kubernetes (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the ongoing operation of the Kubernetes infrastructure – and accompany their further development towards a hybrid landscape that connects their own clusters with Kubernetes services of the Shared Cloud Infrastructure (SCI). Your tasks include: Operation, monitoring and further development of the Kubernetes environment – On-Prem and perspective hybrid Onboarding applications into the clusters and ensuring availability and performance Monitoring, reporting and support in ongoing operation Patch and lifecycle management as well as coordination of incident and problem management Control of external service providers and close coordination with IT architecture and requirements management

We are looking for a personality with a well-founded Kubernetes practice that combines technical depth with a structured, independent way of working. At the beginning, you will be responsible for many tasks independently – self-initiative and reliability are therefore not soft skills, but basic requirements. Ideally, you will bring: Complete study of (economic) informatics or IT training with relevant further education Three to five years of professional experience in the operation of Kubernetes environments Funded knowledge of Kubernetes architecture as well as practice with container technologies (Docker/OCI) and tools such as helmet, Kustomize, ArgoCD or similar deployment tools Solid basics in Linux, networks, certificates and monitoring Basic understanding of CI/CD, GitOps and automation Advantage: Experience in controlling external service providers Very good German knowledge Motivated candidates with a little less experience, but clear will for development are expressly welcome.
