As a lead-buyer, you ensure the material availability of your supervised articles and are regularly in contact with suppliers, development department, logistics and quality assurance and take responsibility for selected suppliers in EMEA They conduct meetings and telephone conferences with suppliers and actively communicate with the specialist departments in case of delivery date requests and delivery bottlenecks of individual products You will also analyse the stocks with a low turnover frequency, discuss the product defects with the quality department and initiate the respective measures to optimize the IST situation In the case of new product introductions or product changes, you assume the commercial responsibility
