The waste management companies Lübeck are the municipal environmental service provider in the Hansestadt Lübeck. Over 750 employees: around 215,000 inhabitants are targeted and committed to cleaning the wastewater, environmentally sound waste disposal and clean roads and squares. We are looking to complement our team in the field of planning/reconstruction, planning department, at the next possible time, unlimited one/n civil engineer:in channel network planning and development up to the salary group 12 (depending on qualification) Reference number E05/2026

Self-creation of planning documents from basic determination to execution planning as well as the development and presentation of various planning concepts to the building-ready solution Implementation of variant comparisons and cost-effectiveness calculations taking into account investment and operating costs and other technical criteria Installation of hydraulic and design calculations with detailed explanations. Coordination, explanation and enforcement of planning concepts with internal departments, external stakeholders, offices and authorities Instruction, monitoring and acceptance of the associated signatories, development of performance volumes, implementation of procurement procedures, as well as qualified support and billing

You have a degree in engineering (e.g. civil engineering, driving or environmental engineering) with extensive experience. You have very good knowledge in the field of urban water management, hydraulic calculation methods and engineering knowledge in open and closed pipeline construction. You have professional experience in independent project management and project monitoring. You bring experience in the application of relevant computer-assisted planning tools as well as basic knowledge in AutoCAD and are safe in handling Microsoft 365. You can explain complicated facts with safe German (word and writing), simply put them to the point and remain in difficult conversation situations, always finding solutions in the team. You are ideally owned by a valid class B licence.
