Data Engineer Microsoft Fabric (mwd)

As a Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer, you will accompany a migration of Oracle and Business Objects to Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.

As a Data Engineer Microsoft Fabric you design the construction and development of a new Data Lakehouse based on Microsoft Fabric. You work from the conception of creating, maintaining and monitoring ETL routes and across the entire migration path from different sources. You are responsible for data modeling and the construction of structured, performant data structures for analysis purposes. To do this, you can support the areas of expertise in creating reports, e.g. PowerBI. You create scripts to automate recurring activities. You work in projects and are internal consultants of the departments on the topics of your responsibility.

Completed studies in computer science or a comparable discipline Multiannual professional experience as a data engineer with focus on business intelligence and data integration Experience in building and operating Data Lakes or Data Warehouses, ideally with Microsoft Fabric Knowledge of data modelling, database design, data governance, Spark, Python, ETL Good knowledge of German in word and writing
