Head of Financial Accounting (m/f/d)

In order to strengthen the commercial organization, we are looking for a head of financial accounting (m/w/d) at the next possible time. In this responsible key position, you take over the professional and disciplinary leadership of a twelve-member team and are responsible for the financial accounting of a diverse group of companies with domestic and foreign companies. In addition to ensuring a smooth day-to-day business, you will design the organizational and professional development of the department, drive digitization and optimization projects ahead and act as a central contact point for management, auditors and tax advisors.

The position is aimed at experienced figures from financial accounting, who provide sound knowledge in accounting, would like to take responsibility and bring their experience to a stable and successful industrial company in the long term.

Professional and disciplinary leadership and further development of a twelve-member team Total responsibility for financial accounting including monthly, annual and consolidated financial statements according to HGB Ensuring smooth daily business in debitor, creditor, asset and main accounting and active cooperation Management of consolidation processes within the group of companies and preparation of evaluations and reporting for management Optimization and digitization of existing processes as well as central contact persons for management, auditors, tax advisors and internal departments

Senior Account Manager (m/w/d) or a comparable qualification Multiannual professional experience in financial accounting with well-founded knowledge in the completion according to HGB First leadership or professional responsibility desirable and ideally experience with corporate structures and consolidation processes Secure handling of ERP systems and Excel; Knowledge of proALPHA and LucaNet are beneficial Structured, analytical and solution-oriented functioning as well as communication strength, enforcement capacity and joy in the further development of processes
