The Electron Microscopy Facility at the UKE offers expertise, training and support in the field of ultra-structural visualization technologies. The device covers a wide range of light and electron microscopy techniques, the focus being on sample preparation and characterization of genetically modified animals, including the immunlocalization of proteins, ultrastructure analysis and data processing. The line of the facility is to be reoccupied. Your tasks: Advising researchers and designing electron microscopic studies Technical support of transmission electron microscopes and the planned scanning electron microscope Development and application of new methods in sample preparation, data collection, data processing and sample generation Core Facility's budget and personnel responsibility Training of staff and benefits

Applicant scientific degree, including doctoral degree Multiannual professional experience and very good knowledge in the field of electron microscopy Proven leadership qualities Very good communication skills in English Coordination and organizational talent Very good team capability
