Acquisition of the operational and strategic management of the Hochbau division together with the existing department manager Personnel responsibility for around half of the staff of the department, including civil engineers, architects, technicians and masters Control of planning, construction design and maintenance of existing and new buildings Coordination of different subject areas within the department Ensuring the technical quality of all projects Close and trusting cooperation with the existing Head of Division to ensure uniform leadership, clear responsibilities and concerted decisions Valuable, targeted leadership as well as expert advice and support for team members Responsibility for resources and budgets in the context of annual planning Close cooperation with the departmental management and preparation of opinions and policy proposals for strategic topics

You have a degree in architecture or civil engineering with a focus on building (Bachelor, Master or Diploma) You have leadership experience, ideally in a comparable position within the municipal administration You bring comprehensive knowledge in the design, project management and construction design You make decisions responsibly and always take into account the interests of the city as a whole You work systematically, independently and committed You have strong leadership and team and communication skills You successfully shape the shared line, create clear structures and set goals together with the existing department manager You are resilient, conflictable and have high social competence to motivate and promote your team You have good computer skills and willingness to work on existing programs You have Class B driving licence
