PROFESSUR „VERFAHRENTECHNIK INSB. DOWNSTREAM PROCESSING“ (W2)

At the Food Technology Department of the Fulda University of Applied Sciences, the study programme “Industrial Biotechnology” was reintroduced for the winter semester [for phone number see the original ad], which is an essential core area for the project. Based on the existing orientation, the field is to be further expanded and profiled.

Your main tasks:

› Representation of the above-mentioned subject in the Bachelor and Master's degree programmes of the Department in Teaching and Research:

The modules assigned to the subject area extend to the basics of process engineering, refrigeration and heat technology as well as downstream processing, industrial plants, quality management and legal bases of biotechnology in the bachelor sector as well as deepening downstream processing and industrial plants in the master sector.

› Applied research and teaching in the field of denomination, in particular in the fields of process engineering, bioprocess engineering (downstream processing) and their application in the field of medical, pharmaceutical and chemical industries

› Construction, technical and organizational management of the technician

› Support for doctoral studies

› Cooperation with international partner universities

› Establishment of cooperation between industry and university

› Participation in the conceptual development of the department and its degree programmes and in the self-government

Your profile:

› Completed relevant university studies in the field of bioprocess engineering downstream processing, process engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical technology, pharmaceutical biotechnology or related disciplines

› Substantial and extensive research activities in the field of bioprocess engineering in particular. Downstream Processing

› Experience in the field of industry and the industrial application of biotechnology or related fields

› Third-party acquisition experiences

› Ability and willingness to conduct courses in English

› Existing teaching experience in higher education is expected

Prerequisite for the appointment according to §§ 67, 68 HessHG

› a qualified doctorate,

› proven pedagogical suitability,

› special achievements in the application and development of scientific knowledge and methods in at least five years of professional practice, of which at least three years outside the higher education sector or additional scientific achievements.

The occupation of the place is usually carried out in accordance with § 67 para. 7 HessHG in the official relationship to rehearsal. The trial period is three years. The body is available indefinitely.
