Head of Demand Planning & Sales Forecasting Food (m/f/d)

On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced Head of Demand Planning & Sales Forecasting (m/w/d) that takes responsibility for a precise and scalable planning of needs and production processes.

In this responsible role, you lead a team in the field of planning and ordering and work closely with sales, purchasing, product development and production. • You assume the overall responsibility for the creation, optimization and maintenance of precise forecasts, needs and production plans and the management of a small team • You work closely together with sales, e-commerce, finance and product development to precisely meet needs and continuously improve planning processes • You control material and production planning as well as the entire supply chain process, including monitoring production progress, delivery status and stocks • You analyze forecast deviations, derive corrective measures and implement sustainable improvements to increase forecast accuracy • You work with projects to increase efficiency, optimize costs and further develop the international supply chain strategy and bear responsibility for budget, KPIs and reporting

• You bring a completed degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a comparable qualification with • You bring several years of experience in demand planning, forecasting and supply chain management, ideally from the producing food sector, the consumer goods industry or in e-commerce • You bring multi-year leadership experience as well as sound knowledge in the application of ERP and planning tools (e.g. SAP Business One, Streamline) with • You have a structured, solution-oriented operation with high affinity for process optimization, data analysis and KPIs • You have very good Excel and Analytical skills as well as reliable German and English skills
