Number: MER0003XGI Description - External We as RD/EBE (Electronics/Electronics System & Hardware) deliver technologically leading EE systems with premium series quality into Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Our RD/EBE department is responsible for the development of electric/electronic volumes and the system design of the Mercedes-Benz HV batteries. These challenges include: Cooperation in the field of high-voltage battery development (EE System & Hardware) with focus on electronics development and programming Independently responsible further development of existing (small) projects in electronics and software Conducting electrical measurements and analysis Development of simulation models and implementations of various simulations in Matlab/Simulink/SimScape Implementation of data analyses with Python Creation of schematics, layouts and hardware setup and testing Creation of documentation, presentations and preparation of appointments The activity can begin from March 2026.

Study programme in the field of electrical / communications / informatics or a comparable qualification

Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Funded theoretical knowledge in the field of electrical engineering (circuit design and construction) or Computer Science (C, C++, Python, Windows Programming)

Ideal experience with tools such as STM Cube IDE, LTSpice, MS Visual Code, Matlab Simulink and Toolboxen, Vector CANape

Analytical thinking and problem-solving competencies, combined with the development of solutions and their effective implementation

Communication joy as well as team skills combined with a systematic, targeted and self-responsive approach
