We are looking for the Office for Digitization, Organization and IT (DO.IT) of the Landeshauptstadt Stuttgart. The place shall be occupied without delay. Our goal is to enable contemporary cooperation and efficient information flows through user-friendly solutions.

You take over the management of the subject area “Specific city-wide applications” with supervision of services and expertise for a team of up to 20 IT specialists and product managers and their further development Your tasks include the control, monitoring and continuous development of operating and support processes as well as ensuring a stable and secure operation of the systems You actively shape the strategic development of IT solutions and adjacent systems and ensure their integration into the urban IT landscape Representation of the field of expertise within the administration and in projects with close cooperation with specialist offices, internal interfaces and the office management is also one of your tasks You are responsible for compliance with quality, safety and data protection standards in application operations A change or addition of the task area is reserved.

A completed university degree (Master/Diplom) in the field of computer science with relevant professional experience in the written field of activity It is also possible to apply for officials of the up-to-date information technology service (min. A 12) with relevant professional experience in the advertised field of activity, which provide the willingness and conditions to successfully complete the course of ascent You have already gained leadership experience and understand how to guide, motivate and develop teams You bring profound knowledge in IT architecture, portal solutions and collaboration tools as well as experience in their integration into complex infrastructures with You have proven experience in maintaining project goals and in interface management with specialist offices, bodies or other partners
