Lithium-ion Battery Project Engineer (m/f/d)

Control of the entire EPC chain for the design, development, production and integration of lithium-ion batteries in submarines, responsibility for contractual technical specifications, safety and reliability standards as well as country/sea permits Total responsibility for all project phases (initiation, planning, test management, KPI monitoring & controlling, documentation) and management of the technical core team, responsibility for competence and performance development, implementation of design, safety and reliability reviews and ensuring compliance with corporate and project standards Continuous monitoring of project KPIs, implementation of Earn Value analyses, risk assessments and action tracking, and initiation of corrective action plans for deviations and reporting to the steering committee Leadership in customer and supplier negotiations on system architecture, performance limits, warranty and warranty conditions as well as development, presentation and coordination of technical content including definition of responsibility and acceptance criteria Ensuring consistent cooperation for all cross-sectional areas (e.g. shock, acoustics, mechanics, safety, etc.) and coordination of interface work packages with partners, production and quality managers as well as legal and contract departments

Graduate, Master or higher in electrical engineering, control technology, mechatronics or physics Multiannual professional experience in the development, project processing and production of lithium-ion batteries and practical experience in project processing with customers, F+E partners and authorities Knowledge of lithium-ion batteries, battery management systems and the overall system know-how for the construction and operation of LIB systems Flowing English knowledge (at least C1), very good technical understanding of the interaction of complex systems and independent processing of tasks with regard to dates, quality and budget Impressed organisational skills, initiative and responsibility as well as high team capacity, communication strength, intercultural competence, including readiness to travel and use
