We are looking for you for the Youth Office of the Landeshauptstadt Stuttgart. The place to be occupied in part-time (60 %) and within the framework of a parental leave.

In our Volunteer Programs (e.g. “Intercultural Bridge Builders” and “Time and Heart”) we promote citizenship. As a volunteer coordinator, you will accompany volunteers, families and professionals to create matching matches. At the same time, the Department of Civil Engagement is the central point of contact for in-depth inquiries. Together, support needs are identified and new offers are developed.

• They design the strategic and conceptual development of the Volunteer Office as part of the Volunteer Office's mandate and work on the development of needs-oriented offers by the Youth Office with
• They recruit volunteers, advise them in initial interviews, communicate accurate assignments in child and youth assistance and regularly conduct training for the qualification of volunteers
• You are responsible for the introduction, accompaniment and long-term commitment of the volunteers, including an appreciation culture
• They advise and support inquiring specialist areas of the Youth Office in the optimization of processes in the Volunteer Department and develop coordinated solutions together with the departments
• Networking in the district and in professional bodies as well as public relations are also part of your task
• They provide quality assurance through documentation and evaluation and work on the annual Annual Report

Your profile that suits us

• A study in the field of social work or social education with state recognition, education or childhood education or a comparable pedagogical university study
• Ideally professional experience in volunteer coordination, project management, networking and the support of volunteers
• Knowledge and expertise in adult education and structured and solution-oriented thinking and working methods
• Ideally multilingualism and intercultural competence
• Responsibility, esteeming communication and a safe occurrence
• Ready for occasional evenings
