You are responsible for the team's disciplinary and professional leadership Together with your team you develop our infrastructure You take project and subproject management with focus on infrastructure topics You coordinate incident, problem and change management (3rd level support) as well as life cycle management in the infrastructure environment Together with your team, you will prioritize topics, control implementation and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards You develop, document and anchor processes in the field of infrastructure and look forward to their sustainable application In your role as team leader, you accompany your employees in their individual development and promote their strengths You work closely with the IT teams within the Enterprise Architecture Unit and with the other IT departments You determine budget and personnel requirements in the team, prepare them and tune them for further planning If it is necessary, you will pack your own operational

Multiannual experience in IT infrastructure (e.g. networks, servers, cloud platforms, virtualization, Windows/Linux). Leadership experience in the management of technical teams – with an empathic, promoting leadership style and the ability to resolve knowledge silos, to clear responsibilities and to develop the team. Knowledge of automation and infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD) would be desirable but not absolutely necessary. Strong communication skills to clearly convey technical topics and to act as an interface between team, management and adjacent departments. Experience in project management: ability to prioritize, plan and implement infrastructure projects taking into account time, budget and resources. Excellent sense of responsibility for operational stability and data integrity. Hands-on mentality, paired with strategic thinking: Can work both operationally and develop infrastructure in the long term. Problem-solving competence and high loadability – especially in critical system disorders or complex challenges. Learning and innovation: openness to new technologies and continuous improvement of existing processes. Readiness to travel regularly to visit one of our other locations in Osnabrück, Essen or Berlin.
