Substation Operations Engineer, e.g. Supply / Electrical Engineer w|m|d

WindMW Service GmbH has been operating a service station on Helgoland since 2014 for the operation of the Meerwind Süd|Ost wind farm, which is about 23 km north of the island. Thus we make a significant contribution to the efficient supply of regenerative offshore wind energy in Germany.

In Bremerhaven and for temporary offshore operations (Helgoland), we are looking for an operating engineer w|m|d for the wind farm at the next possible time.

As an operating engineer w|m|d, due to proper maintenance, you ensure the smooth operation of the offshore substation. From Bremerhaven, with occasional operations on Helgoland, plan and coordinate all maintenance measures at the transfer station and are also responsible for technical components of subsystems. Existing deviations and technical disorders analyse them immediately and fix them – with internal teams as well as with external companies. Parents will pick up offers for maintenance services, evaluate them and take over the award. With your technical expertise, you support the 2nd level support for subsystems of the transfer station and accompany the expert and expert examinations. For the Maintenance section, list the requirements, create technical specifications for the replacement parts procurement and transfer all information into task packages. Certainly, based on the technical documentation of the plants, you conduct the maintenance documentation and also create internal work instructions and risk assessments. Continuously improve maintenance methods for the transfer station and perform operations optimization measures.

Its basis is a completed study in electrical engineering, ship operations, plant and supply engineering, technical building equipment, mechanical engineering or a comparable field of expertise. You have already been able to gain professional experience in the maintenance of machinery and equipment, for example as an operating technician, technical manager w|m|d or in a similar position. In addition, you are very familiar with power plant or large plant technology and understand the interaction of complex technical systems. For communication in our international teams you need good English knowledge in word and writing. Timely flexibility, the readiness for temporary offshore operations and ideally a work medical suitability according to AWMF standard will bring you along. You will participate in your projects in a solution-oriented manner and always involve internal and external participants to ensure a smooth process.
