You develop and operate modern data pipelines with Microsoft Fabric (Dataflows Gen2, Pipelines, Notebooks) and Azure components (e.g. Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Azure Functions). You build semantic models and dashboards in Power BI and care for them – including DAX, Measures, Dataflows and Data Sets. You implement a holistic medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold Layer). You support the automation and scaling of data processing (CI/CD, Git, DevOps). You share your knowledge in the team through code reviews, internal training and mentoring.
You have a completed study of (economic) informatics, mathematics, statistics or a comparable qualification. You bring multi-year professional experience in Data Engineering or BI Engineering – ideally focusing on Azure and the Microsoft BI Stack. You have a well-founded knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and Power BI – from data connection to the finished report. You have very good programming skills in SQL and Python (e.g. for notebooks and data science applications). You have experience in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes and performance optimization. You are ideally familiar with infrastructure automation (e.g. Azure DevOps, Git, Terraform). You are convinced by analytical thinking, a structured way of working and pronounced communication strength – even in exchange with non-technical stakeholders.
