In addition to its own distribution centers (DCs), Action uses external parties, so-called logistics service providers (LSPs), for the operation of “outgesourcten” DCs. In an outsourced DC, a small team of action staff works to monitor and optimize the logistics processes together with the LSP. The Process Control Specialist reports directly to the Logistics Service Manager. The focus of the activity is on the management and improvement of logistics processes and systems. Purpose of the body Responsible for the implementation, maintenance and monitoring of logistics processes and systems within the distribution centre to ensure maximum efficiency at low cost and best quality service. In addition, the Process Control Specialist is the central contact person in the DC for SAP(E)WM users.

Operational Management Responsible for the management of processes and systems; Ensure that the standard work instructions (SOPs) are maintained, maintained and adapted as needed; Provides that key performance indicators are tracked; Provides input for the LSM to translate the general logistics policies and procedures of action into the processes of the LSP; Provides input to the LSM to prepare business cases for potential process improvements that are coordinated with the HQ Process Management; Supports LSM to ensure compliance with labour, environmental and safety regulations; Enter the Logistics Service Manager during their absence.
