Music School Teacher for Recorder (m/f/d)

To strengthen our team we are looking for the 01. September 2026 or later a music school teacher*in for recorders (m/w/d) part-time, permanent with an employment rate of 40%; with corresponding demand there is the possibility to increase to 60%. At the music school of the city of Ulm are currently approx. 2,700 pupils of 92 teachers in total about 1,500 hours a year. Teaching takes place at two large school sites, as well as at numerous general schools and daycare centres throughout the city. With outstanding ensemble projects and an extensive event, the music school enjoys high public attention and offers a motivating working environment with a high level of music education. Payment is made by 9b TVöD.

Your tasks: group and individual lessons in the field of recorders from beginners' lessons to pre-studies; Projects in class music Preparation of pupils for preludes, concerts and competitions Cooperation in the conceptual development of the department Designing music school events and their partners Participation in the bodies and specialist conferences of the Music School

Your profile: completed music education and/or artistic studies at a music college with main subject Blockflöte own artistic profile well-founded knowledge and a broad range of methods as well as imagination and creativity for work with all relevant target groups (children, young people, adults; individual and group lessons; Cooperation projects) Teaching experience Joy in cooperation in a dedicated team of colleagues Willingness to participate in the design and implementation of new courses Flexibility, mobility and organisational skills, in particular the readiness to provide decentralized teaching Sovereignty and Kindness in Communication
