We are looking for an EHS Manager (m/w/d) to strengthen our team at the Klingenberg plant.
In this professionally demanding role, you ensure that all legal and internal requirements are met and make a central contribution to the site compliance and to the continuous improvement of our EHS culture.
The position is located at the Klingengerg plant and reports directly to the EHS Country Manager. Local presence on site (5 days per week) and language skills are important to fulfill the core tasks.
Main responsibilities: You ensure that the legal requirements in the areas of environmental, health and safety (EHS) are always communicated and complied with for the site. You work closely with the local leadership team to meet requirements as effectively as possible. You implement the EHS strategy at the location by developing and coordinating local plans together with the local leadership team and taking into account regional policies. As a member of the local leadership team, you participate in decision-making processes and support local needs in consultation with the factory management and the EHS landscape manager. You work with local process security managers/coordinators to ensure that process security requirements are met. You identify and prioritize the location's needs together with the leadership team and manage the EHS budget accordingly. You develop solutions for complex problems, taking into account legal requirements and existing internal EHS requirements. In the event of accidents, spills or near accidents You can assess the incidents, create the necessary reports, evaluate possible risks and develop appropriate depositing measures.
