Passenger Manager

Carrying on passengers: Self-employed and customer-friendly, you give our passengers expert information - both at underground and above ground stations and in our city railways and buses. You can inform about tariffs, routes and KVB products and go proactively to the passengers. You help and support our passengers when using our city railways and buses. In case of complaints or problems, you always have an open ear for our passengers and will be happy to help them. Passenger safety: In your position as a passenger manager*in you will be at the stops as well as in our city trains and buses for order, cleanliness and security. You will be able to reach platforms, intermediate levels and vehicles, and you will be able to report incidents to the competent authorities. You make sure that the house order is adhered to and speaks specifically to passengers or other persons in case of misconduct. Together with your team, you will implement rules and negotiate in conflict situations determined. In emergencies, you take the necessary measures, if necessary also with the help of the police. If necessary, you will refer to people with no house from our facilities. Check tickets: In the team with your colleagues, you check whether our passengers have a valid ticket. If there is no ticket, you will create a precise digital message for receivable management.

Qualification: You have successfully completed the IHK examination according to §34a GewO. You also have a valid first-aid training or are willing to complete it. Flexibility & mobility: You have the license of Class B. Full-shift and weekend work as well as a busy working day are not a problem for you, as well as your willingness to do your service at major events in Cologne. Even difficult weather conditions do not scare off. Language skills: You have good knowledge of German in word and writing and ideally bring basic knowledge in a foreign language. In addition, you are characterized by a pronounced communication capability that is always customer-oriented. Personality & working methods: At work you set a high level of observation, a good ability to enforce and a safe occurrence in conflict situations. Your friendly appearance makes you the perfect companion of our passengers and your team skills as well as your independent and self-responsible way of working round your profile.
