Cooperation in the design and implementation of evaluations, in particular the development of evaluation issues, the development and implementation of evaluation design and the collection and evaluation of primary and secondary data Preparation and presentation of results and evaluation skills in key target groups and preparation of evaluation reports in the team Working with the design, award and control of parts of the evaluation carried out by external experts Support in preparing and implementing case studies in partner countries Participation in national and international professional exchange Working with scientific publications

Degree: Completed scientific higher education according to §7 TV EntgO Bund (e.g. Master or Diploma) Professional experience: At least one year of professional experience (after graduation) in science or evaluation practice Evaluation competence: experience in carrying out evaluations and very good knowledge in the field of evaluation (evaluation approaches, design, standards, etc.) Methods Competence: Good knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methods of empirical social research, at least in one of the two methods areas good application knowledge including common analysis software Competence: Very good expertise in at least one of the topics of the department (fragile statehood, conflict prevention, good governance) EZ competence: Very good knowledge (e.g. by specialization in studies and/or working experience) in the field of German or international development cooperation Scientific competencies: PhD or publication experience (author of journal articles or peer reviewed articles, co-author of a DEval report or Discussion Paper (non-policy letter)) Languages: Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing, knowledge of other international transport languages is advantageous Communication competence: Very good target group-oriented oral and written communication skills, presentation skills and ability to write evaluation Soft-Skills: Embossed social, in particular gender and intercultural competence readiness to travel abroad (on average about 2 longer journeys a 2-3 weeks per year)
