We develop social future! As an operating IT service provider of the Federal Employment Agency (BA), the IT system house at the main location Nuremberg/Fürth and at various locations throughout Germany with over 100 IT applications, 180.000 connected PC workstations and the associated infrastructure runs one of the largest IT landscapes in Germany and continuously develops them. You will be hired as an IT engineer/in in the IT system house.

They become part of the teams “K58 Terminal Control”.

Within this team we create and operate diverse IT products and systems for different disciplines and their tasks. Our software is used to create, manage and process appointments by the employees.

Designing, developing, testing, optimizing and operating software solutions and infrastructures that meet the client's and users' requirements as a senior professional system engineer. They work in interdisciplinary teams to create and/or adapt high-quality and reliable software and infrastructures.

Tasks and Activities

Your main tasks include:

• Planning, management and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructures
• Analysis of system requirements and performance data
• Development, updating and monitoring of software and updating and monitoring of hardware
• Identification and elimination of system problems
• Ensuring system availability and security

Requirements

• Higher education or comparable qualifications (priorities: computer science, business informatics)
• Multiannual relevant professional experience
