HIL Test and Diagnostic Specialist (m/w/d)

Nuremberg - Full time

We are looking for an HIL test and diagnostic specialist at the Nuremberg site (m/w/d). The position must be occupied within a 35-hour week.

The following challenges await you as a HIL test and diagnostic specialist (m/w/d):

• Specification of TestCases for powertrain control device software (engine / exhaust gas aftertreatment)
• Development of test routines for test automation, manual and automated testing of HIL systems, engine test rigs and vehicles
• Development, adaptation diagnostic interface of powertrain control devices in commercial vehicle with a focus on UDS (ISO-14229) for production and aftersales
• Tracking and correction of vulnerabilities in the diagnostic description (DDT / ODX) and from diagnostic test results
• Creating functional specifications to implement solutions for new requirements (DIDs, routines, services) to the UDS interface
• Testing and commissioning of new functions at the HIL, engine test bench and in vehicles
• Development support and test support for the further development of the home service tester
• Ensuring the interface compatibility with free testers according to the common standards (WWH-OBD ISO27145)
• Evaluation and documentation of test results
• Participation in the further development of the engine control device software to adapt it to the specific requirements

Your profile:

• They have a successfully completed degree in the fields of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or automotive engineering, or a comparable degree course
• You have already gained well-founded professional experience regarding test development & Collecting test specification
• You have good knowledge in handling CAN communication and networks
• You are safe to use tools (ETAS / Vector / Matlab) for motor control device calibration,
• Ideally you have good programming skills (C++ / Phyton / Java / Capl /...)
• Very good German and good English skills complete your profile
