We are the Medical University of Brandenburg Theodor Fontane (MHB), a state-approved university with a special focus on practical teaching, innovative research and the training of the next generation of doctors. In close cooperation with our support clinics, we combine excellent science with modern patient care and actively shape the future of medicine in Brandenburg and beyond! The position combines clinical activity, scientific development and teaching in the Brandenburg model study program Dental Medicine (BMZ). A special focus is on digitally supported treatment concepts and the supply of older and multi-morbid patients.

Clinic & patient care

Self-supporting prosthetic treatments (fixed, removable, implanted) Integration of digital workflows (Intraoralscan, CAD/CAM, digital function analysis, virtual treatment planning) Supply of all patients in the sense of patient-centric therapy planning Further development of digital process chains within the University Dental Clinic as well as between clinic and dental technology

Digital Prosthetics & Innovation

Implementation and Evaluation of Digital Treatment Paths Participation in the strategic development of the digital infrastructure of the University Dental Clinic Analysis of clinical results of digital vs. conventional methods

Research

Participation in scientific projects in the field of (digital) prosthetics, supply research or senior dental medicine Possibility to develop own research questions Possibility of doctoral studies

Teaching

Participation in the design and implementation of courses Clinical courses and case-based teaching formats Participation in curricular further development in the field of digital dentistry Professional qualifications

Successfully completed studies of dentistry and German approval Clinical experience in the field of prosthetics desirable Interest in complex supply situations Enthusiasm for digital technologies such as Intraoralscan, CAD/CAM or digital treatment planning Interest in evidence-based diagnostics, therapy planning and quality-oriented patient care Joy in scientific questions and the further development of modern treatment concepts Very good knowledge of German in word and writing (C1/ B2-Niveau)
