Production Manager – Textile Sorting / Apolda Plant (Thuringia) (m/f/d)

You take full operational responsibility for our work in Apolda and lead directly to the next management level (internal department manager) as well as the team leaders. Together with your team, you will develop the location strategically and operationally – focusing on productivity, efficiency and sustainable leadership structures. Make sure that processes, decisions and leadership are in line with the values and objectives of TEXAID – also in daily implementation on site. You strengthen routines, establish reliable standards and develop a common understanding of leadership that is carried across site boundaries. You accompany executives in their further development and create an environment where responsibility is taken over and transparency can be lived. You work closely with the CEO and other key functions and make a decisive contribution to the economic and cultural stabilisation of the site. In the next 3–4 years, you will also develop towards Export & Sales and will thus play a central role in the company.

You have a degree (e.g. economic engineering, production engineering, logistics, BWL with focus on production or the like) or a comparable qualification with sound business and technical competence. You will bring at least 10 years of experience in the production environment, including several years of leadership with direct leadership responsibility. Your knowledge of German is excellent, your knowledge of English is very good – you can move in writing and orally on both levels. You have proven to have managed locations or large teams through restructurings or transformation processes – even under difficult conditions. You combine strategic thinking with operational implementation strength – you are hands-on, but always looking at the big whole. You are strong in communication, conflictable and lead with clarity, consistency and attitude – even and precisely in challenging situations. You have the drive to develop yourself in the company in the long term and bring interest and first contact points with (international) sales/export.
