You develop Python scripts to automate the quality assurance (QS) of our PowerFactory network models – such as consistency, plausibility and topology checks as well as rule-based model checks. After that, you enter the scripts into the modeling workflow (PowerFactory‐Python-API), document functions and first reusable test modules. You work closely with the field of power grid modeling, validate results in test networks and prepare Findings for reviews. In addition, you support the further development of QS standards (Coding Guidelines, Unit Tests, Logging, Version Management with Git).
You are studying electrical engineering/energy technology, computer science, data science, economic engineering or a comparable degree course To do this you bring solid basic knowledge in Python and have fun in clean software engineering (Git, Tests, Doku). First touch points with DIgSILENT PowerFactory or other network simulation tools are a plus. Your willingness to work on you quickly is important. You work structured, analytically and solution-oriented, communicate clearly and enjoy teamwork. You speak fluent in German; English skills are of advantage.
