Number: MER0003JCX The material flow is ensured from globally distributed suppliers through their own production network to the finished vehicle. This is logistics! With a group with more than 65 production sites and more than 9,000 sales locations, this can become a major task. We transport the logistics of the Mercedes-Benz Cars goods volumes of several thousand trucks, several hundred containers and supply belts with parts in the 2-digit million area worldwide, daily. We are the central methodology team of the logistics (planning) and responsible for the worldwide standardization of the logistics processes of the Mercedes-Benz Cars locations and currently looking for new heads who want to shape the future of logistics process planning with us. Digitization does not stop us either! Together with you and a strong interdisciplinary team, we integrate our standards into the planning tool of the future or simulate logistics processes to optimize the future already today! As part of this work student activity, a project-specific collaboration is expected in the group “Logistics Material Flow Simulation” (short CoC Simulation) as well as exciting activities in the course of internal communication & marketing of developed methods & standards of our team. These challenges include: You define and shape the metric set for intralogistics and have the chance to bring your own ideas with you You support the digitization of our reporting tools to improve the control of the key-number portfolio and to expand reporting and analysis capabilities You control communication with all stakeholders including international contacts You create and process processes, work instructions and guides

Degree in Economics, Business Informatics, Digital Business or a related degree programme German and English skills Safe handling of MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint Extensive interest in digital technologies and the automotive sector Experience in the field of data analysis & use of artificial intelligence Analytical way of thinking and an independent, targeted way of working High motivation, team skills and communication strength Additional information: Of course, without formalities, we are not.
