In this position, guide the certification area and ensure that the certification, validation and verification services offered comply with applicable standards, legal requirements and customer needs (external and internal). You guide your employees in Germany in a disciplined manner and advise international management in resource planning to ensure efficient cooperation. You are part of an international team to identify and develop new certification, validation and verification services and manage implementation at the certification body. In addition, you continue the digitalization strategy, including by further developing internal tools and systems such as qualification or certification systems as well as online platforms. In addition, you take responsibility for the qualification of certification body personnel and the qualification of the contractually bound laboratories.

Successfully completed studies in a relevant area (legal science, engineering, business, quality management) Comprehensive experience in ISO/IEC 17065 in an international matrix organization, as well as first leadership experience Embossed communication and consulting skills, also in dealing with stakeholders and knowledge management experience Structured and quality-oriented working methods as well as the ability to make technical content understandable (e.g. for marketing and information material) Travel readiness of up to 25% in Germany and abroad and at least 3 days per week at the headquarters in Cologne English knowledge fluent in word and writing (C1)
