The Center “Worldwide Transportation” is responsible for the planning and operation of the group-wide transport networks for prefabricated vehicle, material, and empties flows of Mercedes-Benz AG. The focus of your internship is the use in group-wide network planning and in the operational operation of global vehicle transports. Within the framework of the internship, we offer you the opportunity to gain a thorough insight into the control and planning processes of finished vehicles. These challenges include: Global communication with internal and external process partners, location – and transport service providers Quantitative and qualitative analysis of transport and handling processes Evaluate and analyze operationally relevant transport and performance parameters Preparation, implementation and preparation of planning workshops
