You work in the area of weight management of future models in the weight management and lightweight construction department. This team coordinates all development activities for vehicles of the Full-Size segment and for electrical models in the conceptual phase. Your contractually agreed working time can be flexible up to 20 hours per week. With increasing demands on environmental compatibility, lightweight construction is becoming increasingly important in the development of passenger cars. The team is responsible for defining and deriving weight targets for vehicles up to 2035 and for weight management of current prototypes. The main focus is the identification and implementation of lightweight construction strategies as well as a predictive control of the weight profiles – in short: we ensure that future models become easier, more efficient and sustainable. Track and review of weight-relevant lightweight construction measures
Participation in the preparation and implementation of weight claws and the competitive analysis
Data processing, comparative analysis and documentation of technical results
The activity can begin from April 2026.
Study programme in the field of mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, materials science, lightweight engineering or a comparable study programme
Knowledge and practical experience with Power BI for visualization and processing of technical data
Secure handling of MS Office (in Excel) and basic data analysis capabilities
Technical understanding, structured working and high level of learning
Analytical thinking and strategic working
Good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing
Team spirit, communication strength and enthusiasm for automotive construction
