Unix / AWS Cloud Engineer (m/f/d)

You are in the team responsible for the operation and engineering of complex, Linux-based stock exchange trading and banking applications - and thus for core applications of Baader Bank. As part of Baader Bank's cloud strategy, you are working on the Bank's banking cloud platform migration of these applications. You ensure the operation of the applications - on-premise as long as You are not migrated yet and in the AWS after migration. Monitoring and incident handling as well as the processing of incident and problem tickets are part of your job. You can participate in challenging and multi-disciplinary IT projects - from the creation of IT concepts to the independent implementation of the team. If necessary, you optimise and automate recurring IT operating processes.

You bring a completed (specialist) degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or comparable knowledge acquired in practice. You can program, ideally with TypeScript CDK or Java, and in the Linux world you can safely move. Experiences in “infrastructure as code” you bring. In addition, you have well-founded knowledge in some of the following technologies: RHEL, Puppet, Git, Bash, Python, JBoss, Tomcat. You know about cloud technologies, ideally with AWS, or are interested in developing you in this area. Experiences with workflow orchestration software such as BMC Control-M are of advantage. You can prove your communicative and independent work every day and you always grow with your tasks. You are a team player and show a professional, competent and friendly handling of customers and service providers at all levels. Very good knowledge of German in word and writing complete your profile.
