With external sales of around 12.24 billion euros and around 76,000 employees (including self-employed retailers and nearly 3,400 trainees), the EDEKA Minden-Hannover is the largest sales of a total of seven regional companies in the cooperatively organized EDEKA association. It has existed since 1920, extends from the Dutch to the Polish border and includes Bremen, Lower Saxony, a part of East Westfalen-Lippe, Saxony-Anhalt, Berlin and Brandenburg. More than three quarters of the nearly 1,500 markets are in the hands of around 640 independent EDEKA merchants. The group of companies includes several production plants, including the bread and baked goods production Schäfer's, the production for meat and sausage productsBauerngut and the traditional company for fish processing Hagenah in Hamburg. You've reached your Abitur or Fachabitur and want to get started right now? Then you're right with us! The world of logistics is your thing and you will find technical processes, logistical processes and working with numbers exciting. With a sense of responsibility, flexibility and commitment, you score with us. As a real team player, you have fun dealing with people, but you also like to work independently.

Your start with us: A Welcome Week full of action, team building and cool goodies like e.g. an iPad! And your firm opponent is at your side from the start. Study & Practice: In six semesters you change between theory and practice every three months – and with full salary! Already in September, you will find a paid internship where you will experience the logistics and retail. Studying with tailwind: At the Leibniz Fachhochschule Hannover you will be prepared top for your Bachelor in Business Administration (focus on logistics). We even support you with a rental fee! Double Degree, Double Power: In addition to the Bachelor, you can also secure the IHK degree as a merchant for forwarding and logistics services. Projects for the future: Our apprenticeship and student projects are not only exciting, but also bring you personally and professionally. Career? From the delivery of goods to transport to the EDEKA market - you learn how our goods flows are organized and are actively planning. We will show you how you deal with data from our commodity management system, analyze it and interpret it.
