As Team Assistant Hotel Operations (w⁠/⁠m⁠/⁠d) at sea chefs, you will not only have a varied range of tasks – you will also be immersed in the fascinating world of seafaring! In this function, our Hapag-Lloyd Cruises fleet hotel Operations team will support you with a variety of operational, organizational and co-ordinative tasks – both in the direct interface to our ships and in the back office. This position is limited by a parental leave office. Your tasks at a glance: Support of the Hotel Operations Team for the Hapag-Lloyd Cruises (HLC) ships during the monitoring and coordination of workflows on board. Participation in department projects Takeover of general assistance tasks and proactive process optimization Evaluation and analysis of crew, passenger and ship forecasts to identify improvements Organisation and preparation and logging and tracking of meetings Monitoring and coordination of reproductions in the field of printed matter and amenities Travel Management for Corporates and External Advisors, including Visa Order and Coordination of Cabin and Flight Requests Organisation and coordination of trainings on board Support in the preparation of procedural instructions updating and quality assurance of process instructions and hotel management manuals in naval and land systems as well as introduction and support of new digital applications. This is ideally what you bring: Completed commercial or gastronomic training Insufficient professional experience, ideally in the hotel industry, and/or on board cruise ships safe handling of budgets and understanding of economic targets; strong cost and quality awareness Embossed team and communication skills High service orientation Organizational talent, flexibility and independent working Loadability, reliability and integrity Safe handling of MS Office; ideally additional experience with POS and goods management systems Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing Good general education and safe handling
