Hygiene Specialist Hospital Hygiene Unit (m/f/d)

The Städtische Klinikum Karlsruhe is the largest hospital in the Middle Rhine region. It is shown in the hospital plan of the state of Baden-Württemberg as a house of maximum care for the region and the teaching hospital of the University of Freiburg. Day by day and around the clock, more than 4,900 qualified employees ensure the care of patients. The Hospital Hygiene Department at the SKK (Head: Dr. Mrugalla) consists of 13 employees, including hospital hygienists, hygiene professionals, a hygiene engineer and a diploma biologist.

At the next time, we are looking for a hygiene specialist (m/w/d) for the hospital hygiene staff, full-time.

Creation and updating of hygiene and disinfection plans based on KRINKO recommendations and guidelines Implementation of hygienic requirements and advice in the practical implementation of hygiene measures in the various disciplines and departments Collection and evaluation of microbiological findings and nosocomial infections and advice on the resulting hygiene measures Implementation and documentation of training, visits, training, instruction and care Participation in the detection and evaluation of pathogens with special properties (e.g. resistances / multiresistance) Working to create infection statistics Participation and participation in construction meetings and consultation as well as planning the execution organisation, on-site monitoring of the construction measures (e.g. dust protection) Conducting hygienic microbiological environmental studies With the help of reconnaissance of transmission chains as part of the outbreak management
