You will be part of the team of Direct Purchasing at the BEW, which provides technical services and materials for power plant locations and district heating projects. You work in an interdisciplinary environment in which you gain insights into real procurement processes, contract negotiations and project management – ideal for deepening your theoretical knowledge in practice. You meet a collegial team that supports you, encourages you and gives you space to introduce your own ideas and take responsibility. You support purchasing in operational procurement processes and administrative activities. You get supplier offers, prepare them and start offering comparisons as well as purchase-relevant evaluations. You provide supplier, product and order data and support in ensuring high data quality. You participate in orders as well as in coordination with internal departments and suppliers. You support the analysis and optimization of existing shopping processes, processes and data structures. You are involved in the preparation of purchasing decisions as well as in smaller projects to increase efficiency in purchasing.

You are a student:in – ideally in the field of economic engineering, civil engineering, law, energy or environmental technology. You are interested in project work, contracting and communication and want to gain practical experience. You have gained interest in the fields of construction and contract law and ideally already experience in the field. You work structured and have fun researching and documenting. You can control MS Office safely – ideally, you will have first experiences with Excel tools or Power BI. You work independently and analytically. You have fluent German skills in word and writing.
