Export Control Manager (w/m/d)

To support the team in the 'Export Control' area, we are looking for a*n at the Ulm site Export Control Manager (m/d) The 'Export Control' area ensures compliance with laws and regulations relating to export control and is an important part of the standards and principles of integrated, responsible and sustainable management at HENSOLDT. The team works closely with internal and external bodies and is responsible for compliance with all national and international laws and regulations.

Ensuring compliance and implementation of national, European, US and other applicable export control regulations and embargo measures (for the transferred project responsibilities) Assessment of approval requirements for goods, software and technology components according to the AWG/AWV, ITAR, EAR and export law of other countries Application, administrative administration and supervision (incl. circulation and time-limit control) of export permits to the Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control Monitoring of deliveries, verification of export authorisations for the release of deliveries to the correct depreciation of export authorisations Defining requirements to ensure compliance with all relevant export control regulations with the project/product and specialist departments Editing of penalty list hits Approval management, including application, administration, traceability of deadlines and monitoring of approvals and other notifications according to external economic law

Complete technical, legal, logistical or commercial studies or training with appropriate qualifications and professional experience in foreign trade or comparable Experience in the technical, legal and/or commercial sector of an industrial company Knowledge of national and international export regulations (German foreign trade law, EU dual-use VO, US export control ITAR/EAR) Experience in the security and defence industry Good SAP knowledge (ERP FT module, GTS) Independent and highly responsible working methods combined with analytical thinking and solution-oriented action Very good knowledge of German and English Teamability in flexible work design
