Projektcoordination bszFOLIO (w/m/d) (Full time, until E 11 TV-L) Reference number 2025/124. The place shall be occupied at the next possible time. It is limited to four years. An extension is sought. The place is in principle divisible.

The BSZ provides IT-supported services for scientific libraries, museums and archives, in particular in Baden-Württemberg, Saxony and Saarland.

In the bwFOLIO project funded by the Ministry of Science and Art of Baden-Württemberg, we are currently examining in cooperation with our project partners the operability of the FOLIO library management system for the scientific libraries of the state of Baden-Württemberg. As part of the follow-up project bszFOLIO we will first carry out the migration of the pilot library LIV Heilbronn. We will then implement a nationwide roll-out at the university libraries in Baden-Württemberg. Konstanz is the largest city on Lake Constance and as a recreation area is a popular residential and working place with a variety of leisure opportunities.

Library specialist responsibility for the FOLIO project team Introduction of the Open Source Library Management System FOLIO in Baden-Württemberg in a dedicated team in close cooperation with the project management Design of the transformation and migration process from aDIS/BMS to FOLIO in the team together with the project management Networking with the regional, national and international FOLIO community and management of international professional working groups, for example for the multilingual user documentation of FOLIO

A completed university degree in the fields of library or information sciences or a demonstrably comparable qualification with completed university studies Knowledge of the courses in libraries Ability to work independently and independently Communication and team skills Good knowledge of German and English Knowledge of library management systems FOLIO and/or aDIS/BMS are advantageous
