Senior Consultant Property Division Management (Human*) – Focus on Fundamental Issues - Germany and International Markets

Basic work with central influence: You are responsible for the policy issues of property insurance and its reinsurance design. Based on the analysis of national and international market trends, you create specialist concepts, market analyses and management templates and derive recommendations for underwriting and portfolio management. In addition, you will participate in the development of drawing guidelines, take over the special acceptance and write-off for basic questions in the management markets and accompany strategically important customer relationships professionally and as a savings partner. Conditions of insurance and contract design: You analyze and evaluate property insurance conditions as well as reinsurancewordings – especially in corporate and municipal business – and develop model conditions and keywordings, clauses and cover concepts. You support complex issues of coverage and interpretation and evaluate new conditions and market standards as well as new risks and products for their reinsurance relevance. Consultancy and interface function: You act as a contact person on a special level and moderate and accompany discussions with customers, brokers and retrocessors. In addition, you actively represent and position the company on industry events and safeguard the company's interests in bodies of the VöV e. V. and, if necessary, the GDV. You will pass on your knowledge through training to internal and external target groups. International growth: You support the development of international business, analyze and evaluate market standards, insurance conditions and cover concepts in international markets and support the underwriting in assessing complex risks and contract structures outside the leadership markets. In addition, you develop guidelines and best practices, evaluate country-specific specificities (e.g. insurance law, market conditions, reinsurance structures) and advise on complex tenders and contract negotiations.

Completion as a full lawyer (person*) (2nd state exams), master in insurance law or a comparable qualification with a legal focus Multiannual experience in property insurance with a focus on corporate customer risks (commercial, local, industrial) Wide and deep technical and legal know-how Experience gained in dealing with insurance conditions and contracts Good knowledge of reinsurance structures and contractual mechanisms Secure market overview in Germany and Austria; ideally complemented by international experience High independence, strong intrinsic motivation and sense of responsibility Sovereign communication and consulting competence at eye level Safe appearance and joy of networked cooperation Conceptual strength and interest in strategic issues German and English skills, other foreign language of advantage
