To strengthen our team, we are currently looking for one of our locations across Germany Cyber Security Consultant – Palo Alto & Network Security (m⁠/⁠w⁠/⁠d) Is a firewall still up-to-date and is the security level really increased by its use? Is hardware still necessary or can it be completely replaced by virtual appliances, on premises or in the cloud? IPS, URL filtering, Bot Net Blocking, Malware Protection, Sandboxing, SD-WAN, IoT or OT Security, network segmentation, remote access and platform integration are just an extract of the possible topics that should be analyzed within a firewall project. As a cyber security consultant (m⁠/⁠w⁠/⁠d) focusing on Palo Alto Networks, our customers recognise the benefits of modern security gateway solutions and use them as an indispensable part of their cyber resilience strategy and know why an exclusive filtering at IP address and port level does not provide sufficient protection. They accompany our customers during the proof-of-concept phase, support them in implementation and are a “trusted advisor” when it comes to particularly complex requirements and cross-platform topics such as e.g. SD-WAN, cloud security or network segmentation.

A completed relevant study, e.g. cyber security, computer science or comparable completed IT-oriented training Experiences with cyber security solutions and proven successful projects, especially in the field of firewall Good to very good knowledge of network, switching, routing and Linux Great interest in modern firewall technologies and solutions from Palo Alto Networks Curiosity, great willingness to learn, creativity and desire to develop things Embossed customer and service orientation, team skills, openness and readiness to travel within Germany Good communication skills with very good German (level C1 or higher) and English skills (level B2 or higher)
