Calculation Engineer EMC Antennas (m/f/d)

Construction and further development of the 3-D-EM modeling simulation capability in the EMC department, including creation, modelling and validation of small, normal and large scale models (antennas, lines, housing, components etc.) with tools such as CST Studio Suite, ANSYS HFSS, COMSOL Multiphysics and FEKO Optimization of numerical algorithms (mesh strategies, solver parameters, parallelization) to increase the accuracy and reduction of the computing time, as well as preparation of simulation results, creation of reports, graphics, technical specifications and derivation of design guidelines for product development Assessment of external test reports, preparation of test specifications, monitoring of location measurements and production of acceptance and final reports Close cooperation with product developers:inside, design engineers:inside, HF designers:inside, system and manufacturing engineers:inside, external supplier:inside and testing laboratories and representation of the subject area in innovation projects as well as participation in specialist journals and conference contributions Maintenance of databases and documentation including configuration management as well as continuous consideration and professional assessment of customer requirements and their secure representation to different customer groups

Complete university studies (Dipl.-Ing. / M.Sc.) in electrical engineering, communications technology, physics or a comparable discipline Multiannual professional experience in the above-mentioned tasks as well as deeper knowledge in the high-frequency/EMV environment, in particular in antenna and radio communication Safe handling of EM modeling software including post processing (e.g. Concept, HFSS, CST, FEKO, COMSOL) and basic knowledge of multiphysical couplings (EMV, Thermik, Mechanics) as well as experience with 3-D CAD-FEM/FDTD/MoM tools for field and S parameter analyses as well as optimization of radiation, reception and decoupling properties; Also desirable are knowledge of GPU/Cluster computing and HPC environments Knowledge of relevant EMC regulations (EN/IEC series, MIL-STD) and the corresponding certification processes Embossed organizational skills, structured working, readiness to take responsibility, improvability and high contact and team capacity, initiative and flexibility as well as fluent knowledge of German and English at a very good technical level
