Senior Expert Information Security (m/f/d)

As a senior expert in the field of information security, you implement the information security strategy operatively and assume its responsibility in the absence of the CISO including Head of the Information Security Steering Committee. You are responsible for third-party risk management, implement and control appropriate standards, evaluate service providers, manage client questionnaires and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory security requirements. In close cooperation with HR, IT, Legal and other departments, you opt for security processes, integrit information security in business processes and carry out physical security checks at locations as required. You lead and develop junior team members, ensure the team's operational ability, coordinate awareness and training, identify training needs and represent information security in onboarding formats. Through regular reporting and resilient KPIs, you create transparency for management and stakeholders, keep your expertise on threats, trends and compliance up-to-date and actively promote the continuous improvement of policies, standards and processes.

Complete study of information security, computer science or a comparable subject and/or relevant professional experience Recognised certifications such as CISSP, CISM or comparable qualifications at senior level Long-standing, well-founded professional experience in information security with proven responsibility in leading roles Deep knowledge of common security frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST), risk management and relevant security technologies Excellent leadership, communication and problem solving skills as well as fluent knowledge of German and English on C2 level
