To support our team in Duisburg, we are looking for a Head of Railway Security and Management Systems (w/m/d) in full time

You are responsible for the safe railway operation of the TDRR while respecting the legal and contractual rights and obligations in a certified safety management system You carry out the specialist tasks as railway manager in accordance with the business instructions You shall ensure cross-system cooperation between the safety-relevant interfaces involved in the railway system, such as ECM, operational control, operational planning, safety management and infrastructure managers You organise emergency management and investigate accidents and irregularities You run the local manager who assists you in performing the tasks You are responsible for the continuous updating and updating of the SMS in coordination with the management You maintain and edit content for the holding function of vehicles in the interface to the supervisory authorities You are responsible for the introduction and updating of all management systems (e.g.: energy, quality and work protection systems) For the areas assigned to you, you are responsible for budget responsibility and are responsible for the sustainable management of staff as well as training and further training of employees in these areas.

You have a successful high- or specialized high-school degree with a traffic-related study focus or an industry-related training with specialist reference You have successfully completed the test for the railway manager according to EBPV You provide several years of professional experience in the railway safety of a railway undertaking, ideally in a senior position You have a well-founded knowledge of railway operations on railway operations, planning, implementation and control/monitoring of railway operations You have the ability to oversee, structure and implement complex tasks precisely You are independent, communicative, team-capable and keep a cool head in stress situations You feel safe in handling MS Office programs and ideally have IVU.plan knowledge
