The joint innovation hub of the Fraunhofer ISI is responsible for the research and innovation centre ''Innovation & Foresight'' of Fraunhofer HNFIZ. It supports its clients:inside from business, politics, administration and civil society, innovation, digitalization & AI, sustainability, strategic perspectives and futures. Our researchers deal with interdisciplinary questions in the field of ''Systemical Innovation and Technology Management''. We conduct and process scientific and application-related projects for clients from the economy, politics and civil society as well as for other stakeholders. Through our scientific systemic approach, we anticipate and analyze innovative developments and shape these with our partners sustainably. Conception, development and maintenance of modern web applications with frontend focus (e.g. React, Angular, Vue) and the associated backend services (e.g. Node.js, Django, REST-APIs) Design and implementation of user-centric UI/UX for interactive dashboards and web interfaces, focusing on AI-based applications and prototypes Connection and integration of AI and Gen‐AI services (e.g. LLM APIs) into existing web frontends including authentication, logging and monitoring. Ensuring high code quality through testing, reviews and continuous integration as well as performance optimization using modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, TypeScript, Build-Tools, CI/CD) Close cooperation with research and innovation teams for the agile implementation and iteration of interactive demonstrators and click prototypes for AI applications.

Complete study of computer science/IT, media informatics or a comparable qualification focusing on web development or software engineering Very good knowledge of modern frontend frameworks (e.g. React, Angular or Vue) as well as safe handling of HTML, CSS and JavaScript or Typescript Experience in the development of REST or GraphQL APIs as well as in the work with at least one common backend framework or ‐Stack (e.g. Node.js/Express, Django, FastAPI or a PHP framework) Found experience in dealing with version management systems (Git), package managers and modern build- or Bundling tools (e.g. npm, Yarn, Vite, Webpack) as well as solid understanding of deployment processes Experience with AI or Gen‐AI applications (e.g. integration of LLM APIs, chatbots or retrieval systems) and a strong interest in developing intuitive user interfaces for such applications High level of initiative and willingness to learn, enthusiasm for new web and AI technologies and fun to work together in interdisciplinary, innovation-driven teams.
