In our newly created residential group in Stadtallendorf, we allow children from the age of 9 years to have a place of security, tranquility, arrival and security. A place that, through its qualities, but above all through sensitive, value-adding and reliable professionals, develops the potential to offer children with complex traumatizations a long-term perspective.

The group is oriented to trauma pedagogical standards and offers space for six children in gender-inhibiting composition.

The focus of the educational work is on the acceptance of the small personalities entrusted to us, the offering of viable relationships, the (re-)activation of personal resources and the development of self-reality with the aim of making biographical experiences workable and correctable.

♪ These are your tasks as a social education specialist (d/m/w)

• You accompany the children in everyday life and create a reliable, loving and structured habitat with them.
• You build sustainable relationships, promote individual development steps and strengthen the self-effectiveness of each individual child.
• You work in a trauma pedagogically oriented manner and bring your professional skills into the design of a resource-oriented environment.
• You work in the team on individual funding plans, documented educational processes and are in close contact with stakeholders and cooperation partners.
• You actively shape living together. With heart, creativity and an open view for what every child needs right now.

♪ You bring this as a social pedagogical specialist (d/m/w)

• A completed training or study as an educator, social education, medical education, or a comparable qualification according to § 72 SGB VIII.
• You have joy and interest in working with our children as well as in the emergence of the new housing group
• You identify yourself with the central attitudes of trauma education and then judge your action
• You have a high degree of empathy, patience and humour and the ability to stop even in challenging situations
• You understand behaviors of our representatives as biographic and sensual behaviors and look for the following needs
• For you, the critical self-reflection as well as the questioning of pedagogical action belongs to professional everyday life
• You work collegially and appreciated in the team and like to take responsibility
• You are flexible and see the advantages of working in shiftwork
• Class B driving licence
