Team Leader* Occupational Safety / Team Lead* HSE

You take over the leadership of the local HSE team (technical and disciplinary) and ensure the qualification and further development of your team members. You implement legal and internal requirements in the field of occupational safety, plant safety and environmental protection at the site. You support managers and plant managers in the creation and maintenance of risk assessments and advise on the design and modification of jobs, work equipment and procedures. You monitor compliance with rules on explosion protection, fire protection and accident prevention. You analyze incidents and assist in deriving and implementing prevention measures. You support waste, water and emission protection programs, participate in hazardous materials management and participate in environmental reporting and approval processes. You are a contact person for employees, executives, authorities and corporate HSE and, through instruction and communication measures, promote a proactive security and environmental culture.

You are a certified specialist in occupational safety (SiFa) according to ASiG. You have several years of professional and leadership experience in the HSE sector (work security and environmental protection), ideally in the chemical industry. You are well familiar with the German HSE legislation (ASiG, ArbSchG, BImSchG, WHG) and with relevant standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001). You are characterized by strong leadership and conviction skills as well as analytical and communicative skills. You speak German fluently and have very good English skills for cooperation with the international HSE team. You bring the willingness to occasional missions.
