As an Operation Expert (m/w/d) in the Purchase-to-Pay environment, you act as a central interface in operational accounting and work closely together in a team of eleven people with different levels of experience. In doing so, you will ensure a stable and efficient daily business process and actively contribute to the clarification of complex issues. At the same time, you continuously develop the existing processes and actively shape the change to more automated and digitally influenced processes. The focus is increasingly shifting from standardized activities to quality assurance, clarification cases and the participation of future-oriented methods and system landscapes in accounting. As Operation Expert (m/w/d), you are responsible for the independent processing of all operating processes in the field of debitors/factura, projects/plants as well as fixed assets and ensure a stable, timely and high-quality process in the daily business. You analyze and clarify complex facts, deviations and special cases and develop resilient and comprehensible solutions. In doing so, you take measures to avoid recurring problems in a sustainable manner. Ensuring high process and data quality is one of your key tasks: You identify vulnerabilities, inconsistencies and sources of errors and implement targeted measures for improvement. You actively contribute to the further development of the processes, recognize optimization potentials and use your operational experience to make processes more efficient and transparent. Digitalization and automation are actively driving you forward, engaging in standardization initiatives, and using AI-based solutions to improve efficiency, quality and transparency. In addition, you work in projects and initiatives, introduce your expertise and support the implementation of new processes, systems and working methods. In cooperation with interfaces and in the team, you will ensure an active knowledge transfer and support the further development of common operations in accounting.

You have a completed economic study or a comparable qualification. In addition, you bring multi-year experience in accounting, in particular in the area of debitors/factura, projects/plants or fixed assets as well as adjacent end-to-end financial processes. Experience in the analysis, standardization and further development of financial processes as well as ideally in transformation projects – for example in the context of ERP or digitization projects – is what distinguishes you. You are able to translate technical requirements in process and system logics and have a good understanding of the relationships between P2P, O2C, A2R, plant accounting and main book. A secure handling of key figures and evaluations as well as a pronounced affinity for data-driven work support your work. Experience in the use of digital solutions and the willingness to actively apply automation and AI-based methods complement your profile. Analytical and conceptual thinking, a high level of autonomy and the ability to convey complex content in a manner that is appropriate to the addressee, willingness to change, design competency and the ability to work quickly into new systems and working methods complete your profile.
