Accountant (m/f/d)

Creation of forecasts and budgets according to the group requirements and support in commercial decision-making processes. Analysis of monthly revenues and costs compared to the budget. Compilation of statistics, nominal actual comparisons and liquidity planning. Participation in the preparation of financial reports and evaluations for internal and external stakeholders. Support for monthly, quarterly and annual accounts according to HGB. Implementation of bank and balance sheet accounts and timely clarification of differences. Compilation and provision of cash flow information. Ensuring compliance with corporate policies, processes and governance requirements. Close cooperation within the KROSE team and the Gallagher group.

Successfully completed commercial training with further education in financial and accounting or studies BWL with a focus on accounting, finance or a comparable discipline. Multiannual professional experience in financial accounting, ideally in financial services, insurance or broker environment. Very good knowledge of German accounting according to HGB. Knowledge in US-GAAP and experience with SOX requirements are advantageous. High numerical affinity and a careful, structured and detailed way of working. Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving competence. Ability to work independently and across-the-range in the team. Very good knowledge in Microsoft Excel. Embossed communication skills in word and writing. Flowing English skills. High self-initiative, resilience and the ability to coordinate several tasks in parallel and to reliably comply with deadlines.
