Referent (m/w/d) Fundraising

The Malteser Hilfsdienst e.V. is an honorary Catholic aid organization with more than 55,000 volunteers throughout Germany. In our services, we address people in need: illness, physical limitations, loneliness, financial distress, social exclusion and the suffering of people on flight. We are always concerned with helping people in need. We finance our work in addition to funding member contributions especially through targeted fundraising.

We are looking for one or more dedicated team members (m/w/d) in the field of fundraising for the Malteser Relief Service in the North at the next time possible. In this meaningful and versatile task, you actively shape the future of our social work. Fundraising covers the topics of donations, discounts, cooperations with companies and funding from foundations and public institutions. Together we are committed to providing assistance where it is most urgently needed.

Strategy & concept development: Developing and implementing concepts for the sustainable extraction of support partners (m/w/d) – with a special focus on estate, foundations and business cooperation

Conveyor acquisition: You identify suitable funding opportunities, write convincing applications and maintain exchange with potential donors

Demand analysis: You identify funding needs within the organization and derive targeted fundraising measures

External address: Together with the press and public relations work, you develop an address matrix for targeted communication with support partners (m/w/d)

Relationship management: You identify and support dedicated individuals, assist in exchange with donors and supporters

Consulting & support: You are a contact person for our breakdowns on questions and needs related to fundraising

Professional experience in fundraising – ideally in one or more of the topics mentioned A self-safe and winning appearance in contact with partners and donors A degree or a well-founded training in business, communication sciences, social management, fundraising – or a multi-year successful activity in this field Entrepreneurial thinking and responsible action Encouragement and security in implementation Creativity, flexibility and the ability to develop new ideas Structured and conceptual thinking An inclusive nature and high social competence – in particular communication strength and team capacity Very good expressiveness in word and writing Joy in cooperation with volunteers A positive basic attitude towards the Christian values of the Malteser
